Bunny Table
Easter is early this year, so when I put away the Valentine decorations, I got out the Easter ones. This old oak table near the entry is perfect for seasonal displays. Just using what I have this year and just a few small touches. We get off the ship a few days before Easter Sunday.

20 Days
Time to start some serious packing. Been pulling things out and hanging up or tossing them in the open suitcase on the bed. No more time to shop for anything other than toiletries, etc.
Planning clothes for a cruise is easy for me because my business attire is resort casual, since I work at the beach. I have more than I can take! For Allan, we bought extra shirts and shorts at the end of last summer and packed them away so they would be new for this trip.
Meeting with our travel agent this afternoon to make sure all of our documents are in order and to ask last minute questions. I know the last few weeks will fly by. Less than three weeks to this trip of a lifetime!

25 Days
Today, Allan and I downloaded and printed our cruise travel documents, boarding passes, and luggage tags. Lots to read and keep with us. We are leaving out of Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. We have decided to drive the day before and stay over night at a nice hotel nearby. Smith family members living nearby will join us for dinner that night. McGee will stay with his Mom Mom and Pop Pop.
Now, on to the packing ...

Meet Rudy!
This is our new travel mascot, Rudy! He gets to go with us on our Princess cruise to the Panama Canal. He is very excited and insisted on standing on his new suitcase with his countdown sign. We will post pictures of him on the ship and at various ports of call. He will be introduced on Facebook, too. He promises to behave and not eat too much. Do sock monkeys need a passport?

New Red Shoes
When I look at Allan's new leather reclining chair, I feel the same kind of excitement you get from a new pair of red shoes. Just like the shoes pull an outfit together, this chair really pulls our living room together and makes it pop! Wow!
Thank you, Bill and Carol. We will enjoy this chair for years to come, including tonight, watching the Super Bowl.
