Travel is Charming!

It started a few weeks ago when Allan brought me back a silver cable car charm from his trip to California. We took it to The Bronze Lady at John's Pass to look at Brighton charms and necklaces.
I decided on a necklace because it would hold A LOT of charms and beads. So, we had fun picking out our favorite charms to go with our trips together. We chose Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, and Nebraska (ear of corn) because of our last visit with Mel, Adam, and the boys in November 2011. We chose Illinois and Wisconsin for our Smith family reunion and our first visit to Mel and Adam's new home last year. Instead of cheese, too bad Wisconsin isn't custard! The Illinois charm is the Ferris wheel at Navy Pier, which we went on! We chose a bright pink flamingo to represent Florida and all of our adventures there. I currently have on order this Galveston, Texas, charm to remember our family trip back in 2006.

I am enjoying this new hobby and having fun seeking out USA state and city charms. Let me know if you find any that I should have!
