Day 3: Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

We began this day with breakfast at a neighborhood cafe - real New York bagels and hot coffee. Fluffy's Cafe is a midtown institution - and priced right. So yum!
We decided to try the subway - on our own - to get to Battery Park. One train - last stop. Simple. We did it!
We had reserve tickets waiting for us - and once again, did not have to wait in the long line. Got right on the ferry.
view of Liberty Island from ferry!
Side view of Statue with Manhattan skyline.
front view from the island. We had pedestal tickets so we would be going to the top of the stone tower.
Saw the Staten Island ferry on her rounds!

Lady Liberty's close up!
the beautiful skyline!
Liberty water!

We enjoyed seeing Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. Everyone should see these!
